Bob Adelman has taught at the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association College of Evidence since 1982.

Because of his expertise in the law of evidence, Bob was selected to serve on the Connecticut Law Revision Committee, which over the course of five years, from 1993 until 1997, wrote the Connecticut Code of Evidence . The Code now governs evidence in all Connecticut state trial courts. Bob then served on the Connecticut Judicial Department’s Code of Evidence Oversight Committee, from 1999 until 2014. In 2014 Bob was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Connecticut to the Code of Evidence Oversight Committee of the Supreme Court. The Code of Evidence Oversight Committee's function is to study and make recommendations to the Supreme Court regarding potential changes to the Code of Evidence.

Each year Bob presents his Update on Evidence lecture at the annual Connecticut Trial Lawyer's Association College of Evidence. Attached are the most recent updates.
